Waynetown - Mrs. Celia R. Hallett, 68 of Rt 4, Crawfordsville died at 2:30 p.m. Thursday in Home hospital at Lafayette. Mrs. Hallett had lived all of her married life in Montgomery and Fountain counties. She and her husband owned and operated the general store at Odell until 1964 when they moved near Crawfordsville. She was born Oct 22, 1904 near Fairbanks, a daughter of Andrew and Arilla Thompson Ransford. She was graduated from Wiley High School at Terre Haute in 1922. She married Lacy A. Hallett of Wallace on Dec 24, 1924. He survives. Also surviving are two sons, Donald M of Kalamazoo, Mich and Richard L. of Anderson and four grandchildren. Services will be conducted at 11 .m. Saturday in Servies-Thomas Funeral Home here with Rev. Everett White officiating. Burial will be in Waynetown Masonic Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. today. - kbz
